Dr. John C. Aniemeke is a graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Texas where he graduated Cum laude in May 2009 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) and received the Quintessence academic achievement award as an outstanding student in periodontics. Dr. Aniemeke received his specialty training also at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, where he obtained a combined Certificate of specialization in Periodontics and Oral Implantology and a Master of Science Degree (M.S) at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. His anesthesia training was at the Veterans Hospital in San Antonio. He also trained at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia on oral surgery externship. He currently maintains a private practice of Periodontics and Dental Implants.
Dr. John is dedicated to making a difference in his patients’ lives by providing exemplary dental care. He knows that it takes more than just good surgical techniques to be a great periodontist, it takes commitment, understanding, and most importantly, a genuine interest in patient health and safety. Every patient is treated as family and you can expect to be treated with the utmost respect and care you rightly deserve.
Dr. John is a people person who is very passionate about his patients and devotes quality time to care for them as family. He is a man of faith known for his compassionate heart towards his patients. He was honored with the Dr. Robert Dale Memorial Award for selfless service to the community and devotion to patient care at the UTHSCSA Dental School (2009).
In addition, Dr. John lectures both nationally and internationally in the field of General Dentistry, Oral medicine, Oral Implantology and Periodontics. He also lectures to college students and young professionals in career related topics. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including; American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), Southwest Society of Periodontists (SWSP), San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS), American Academy of Osseointegration(AO) , International Team for Implantology(ITI), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA). Dr. John has kept his clinical skills current through an ongoing commitment to continuing education courses through these professional organizations. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. John is happily married to his beautiful wife Chidinma, who is a Family Medicine Physician and they are blessed with three beautful children; Miriam, Timothy & Emmanuel. He enjoys listening to music, playing soccer, watching football, and spending time with his family.
